Its an old restaurant with various menu and other fried snacks. The overall food taste super delicious and fresh. The ice cream and pudding also homemade and taste good. I would recommend to share the side dish and add more rice, because the portion is very big. A little bit pricey but worth the taste and big size

It's a nice place for a homey Indonesian traditional foods such as chicken soup, opor ayam, and their speciality garang asem. I have to pin point about the place a little more. This place looks like someone's house rather than a restaurant. There are several kinds of table style, from the usual dining table to the one where you have to lean and scrunch a bit to eat. Prepare yourself to get surprised by the variety of table. The place can be a little crowded and dirty. Overall it's a good place to eat. These pictures were taken two years ago.

Visited here at lunch time, so crowded.. we try to order the famous garang asem.. unfortunately already out.. The food taste good & authentic

A few months ago, I saw a video of Nex Carlos eating here, and I thought I’d try it someday. Turns out, when I had to go to Solo, my father-in-law took me here. The signature dish is garang asem — the portion is large and delicious. I also ordered grilled chicken, and it turned out to be really good too, especially when eaten with the sambal provided on the table.

Original, authentic and well taste of Javanese cuisine. One of legend restaurant in national street between Solo - Klaten - Yogyakarta. Recommended

This place is located in a very strategist location. Whenever my family and I go to Yogya, we always stop here to enjoy large variety of food, especially the traditional Javanese ones. The food mostly tastes good, although some menus are taste too sweet for me. Minus : whenever I stop by on weekdays, its always so crowded that I have to wait for some time because of the limited seats. Overall very recommended!!!

Visit for fried chicken. It's so delicious and fresh from the pan. I love the kremesan that put on it. The sambal is best complement for the dish. The place is cozy, it feels like you are eating in your grandma's home. Electricity for charging is provided but limited though.
